Flight Restrictions

Scheduled Changes:
  • Passengers must reconfirm all flight times directly with the airline, between 12 and 24 hours prior to departure.
  • While at your destination, a SNA representative will reconfirm your flights and will advise you of any changes.When necessary, charter airlines may change or cancel flights without compensation to customers for out-of-pocket expenses or lost time. In these cases, the airline will provide alternate flights as close as possible to the original flight times and dates, and SNA will not compensate customers for out-of pocket expenses, lost time, or missing tour. Travel insurance is therefore highly recommended.
Seats, Baggage & Check-in:
  • Seats are assigned at check-in, which begins three hours prior to departure. Some airlines offer advance seat selection for a small fee: for details, please contact the airline directly.
  • Each passenger is allowed a maximum of ONE piece of checked baggage, not to exceed a total of 20 kg (44 lbs). You will be charged per kilogram over this limit. Each bag shall not exceed maximum total measurements (length plus height plus width) of 158 cm (62 inches). Each passenger is also allowed one carry-on bag, not to exceed 5 kg (10 lbs) or 113 cm (45 inches) total measurements (length plus height plus width). For details, please contact the airline directly.Airlines may apply additional fees for items such as checked baggage. Be sure to confirm any applicable fees with the airline.
  • Charter airline check-in counters typically close 45 to 60 minutes prior to flight departure. You may be denied boarding if you check in late. We recommend that you check in at the airline check in desk 3 hours prior to your flight's departure time.
Special Requests:
  • If you have specific in-flight meal requests or require special assistance when boarding the aircraft, please contact the airline directly.
Air Tickets:
  • SNA Tours uses several airlines; we may issue your airline tickets anytime upon receiving your final payment. You can confirm with the airline and choose your seat assignment after we send you the E-ticket copy. All major credit cards, checks, money orders, bank wire transfers, are accepted. (We do not accept 3rd party credit cards).
Flight Restrictions:
  • While SNA tries to accommodate direct flight or 1 stop flights for clients, it is not guaranteed which airline, how many stopovers will occur, and seat assignment. Seats on the flight will be confirmed by airline after SNA receives booking and payment. Name correction, return date change and return city change after ticketing, or fare class up sell by airline when upgrading will be applied to airline penalty, fare difference and service charge.

Travel Documents

A valid passport and necessary visas or permits are required when travelling on our programs. All documentation is the sole responsibility of the customer, though your travel consultant may assist in applying for necessary travel documentation upon request. SNA Tours accepts no responsibility or liability for a customer's failure to obtain appropriate documentation.

Please attach a photocopy of your passport information page when submitting the application page. If you're renewing your passport, please send us the photocopy once it has been received.

Reservations

All passengers travelling must provide passport information at the time of booking. Your name on the tour reservation must match the name on your passport. Failure to provide this may result in name change penalty or flight boarding being denied by the airline. All special requests, including tour extensions, must be confirmed to SNA Tours before you make full payment. SNA will not notify you before confirming flights with the airline.  SNA will only book the flight and tour according to your reservation form or request, and changes submitted to us before payment is received. Flight itinerary cannot be changed after you submit the full payment to SNA Tours or airline penalty will be applied.

Upon receiving your booking request, one of our staff members will start to assist you in reserving a tour according to your special requirements and interests. The listed prices are based on double occupancy and a single supplement surcharge would be applied to single travellers.

Add-on fare

  • Fares are not guaranteed until confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Overnight stop-over requested by traveller is subject to extra cost.

Upon the receipt of a non-refundable deposit, we will secure your reservation and process your final booking immediately. If we could not confirm your reservation, we will fully refund your deposit.

After deposit and detailed registration, we will request the 1st payment ($500) after confirming your flight reservation for the non-promotional tours. A full payment balance is required 90 days prior to your departure date for the promotional tours.

When your booking is confirmed we will send you a confirmation, informing you of the proposed flights and tours in detail, and the hotel list will be sent 2 weeks prior to departure. Please note that SNA Educational Program reserves the right to make changes and provide you with similar alternatives.

Medical Issues

You must advise us in writing, at or prior to booking, of any physical, emotional or mental condition which may require professional attention during the trip or may require the use of special equipment. If you require a wheelchair, you must provide your own small, collapsible wheelchair. Certain features, and certain trips, are not wheelchair-accessible. We cannot guarantee any wheelchair assistance or accessibility in international destinations. SNA Tours reserves the right to decline any trip participant whose condition, in our opinion, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other participants.

We cannot accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy.

You should familiarise yourself with all international travel risks and health requirements in areas you intend to visit. You are solely responsible for checking safety and security conditions, vaccinations, and other health requirements of governments in countries you will visit or transit.

Travellers to Tibet are required to provide a doctor’s certificate stating that he/she is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal and fit to accommodate high altitudes.

Payment

  • Invoice and payment instructions will be sent to you via email by your travel consultant. Upon receipt of your booking, we will contact you by e-mail or telephone within 48 hours.
  • Money Order, Bank Wire Transfer, Cash, Credit Card-VISA and MasterCard are accepted. When you make a credit card payment through the SNA Tours website you authorise us to charge all fees incurred by you in relation to the services provided to the credit card designated by you. If payment is not received from the card issuer or its agents for any reason, you agree to pay us all amounts due immediately on demand.Your final payment (full cost of the tour minus your voucher) must be received no later than 90 days prior to departure. If the booking is made less than 90 days before departure, full amount must be paid when booking.

Final Packages

  • Final Packages including electronic air tickets (where applicable), visa (where applicable), final itinerary, luggage tags, SNA badges, and luggage stickers will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks prior to your departure date (please contact us if you are departing earlier). By continuing with your reservation, you state that you have read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions of snatours.com.au

Insurance

  • SNA Tours highly recommends that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin. You can consult our staff on insurance packages or an insurance agent of your choosing.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your tour a cancellation notice via letter, email or fax must be received by SNA Tours. If you wish to cancel before the invoice has been paid, no cancellation fees will apply. Cancellations made after the invoice has been issued and paid will result in a service fee of $350/person and additional penalties may apply. We are unable to refund any amount if a cancellation is made after the air ticket has been purchased.

Any requested changes made after the invoice has been paid will be subject to penalties and/or surcharges. Traveller substitutions are considered cancellations and a refund will not be granted if the air ticket has been secured. Cancellation penalties charged by airlines or transport companies will be applied if flight or train/transport tickets have been issued, in addition to the cancellation fees charged by SNA Tours. After the trip has commenced we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival or missed days on tour.

Refunds

Refunds will be calculated from the day the request for cancellation is received and will not be granted if air ticket has been issued. We will refund any payment made to SNA Tours directly, less any cancellation fees, transport penalties, visa application and travel insurance fees that are applicable within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancelation request. A full refund will be granted if we are unable to accommodate for your preferred departure dates or if we are required to cancel the tour for any reason.

Promotion Tours or Online Group Buying Refund Policy

SNA will refund all payments directly paid to SNA Tours only. SNA Tours is not responsible for refunding the full Deal price if voucher is cancelled after the Deal is closed or if the preferred departure dates are no longer available.

  • Tour tipping applies and is payable direct to SNA tours when booking.
  • Voucher is for one person based on double occupancy.
  • Single travellers will incur a single surcharge.
  • Return date change surcharge of $150 applies per person before ticketing, payable direct to SNA Tours at time of booking.
  • A service charge of $100 applies if cancelled after the tour has been confirmed and confirmation has been received.
  • Promotional tours are non-refundable after SNA Tours issues an air ticket.
  • Passport, visa fees & service charges not included.
  • Optional insurance coverage is available for baggage, accident and trip cancellations.
  • Not valid in conjunction with any other offer. No partial redemption. No refunds once departure dates are confirmed.

Responsibility

  • The responsibility of SNA Tours and its affiliated companies is strictly limited. SNA Tours shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions or failure to act of any suppliers such as those of surface, air and water transportation, sightseeing excursions, cruise/hotel accommodations or of any third party not directly owned or operated by SNA Tours. By utilising the travel services of the Suppliers, you agree that you will look to such Suppliers for any accident, injury, property damage or personal loss to you or to those travelling with you, and that neither SNA Tours nor any representative of SNA Tours shall be liable.
  • Without limitation, SNA Tours are not responsible for any injury, loss or damage to person or property, death, delay or inconvenience in connection with the provision of, or failure to provide, any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from--but not limited to--acts of God or force majeure, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labour activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes of other means of transportation or for the failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time, sanitation problems, lack of medical care, or for any other cause beyond the direct control of SNA Tours. Nor is SNA Tours responsible for the stolen or loss of valuable items due to personal negligence.
  • SNA Tours is not responsible for your failure to comply with customs regulations. SNA Tours reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar quality at any time or to make changes in itinerary of similar quality, flights, or cruise ships, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If SNA Tours has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, SNA Tours is liable for a full refund of the money received by SNA Tours.
  • SNA Tours reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or to increase the program price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, currency fluctuations, park fee increases, taxes or fuel surcharges.
  • Please understand that not all museums and attractions are open every day of the year. SNA Tours reserves the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities if that will enable you to visit all listed excursions. In either case, the itinerary content will be maintained to the extent possible and there are no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions.

Alteration of Itinerary

  • Personal alterations that are requested after you receive your confirmation letter will incur a fee of $100 per request, and changes to departure date or destination may incur cancellation fees. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. SNA Tours reserves the right to modify the itinerary of your tour in the event of air schedule and surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond control make such alterations necessary. In this event, any increase and reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged/refunded accordingly. If you request changes to your tour, you will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.
